Market Analyzer® Traffic created by collaboration between two companies What are the two characteristics?
GIS has been used in Japan for about 30 years. As a powerful tool that combines map data and various data analyses, It is used for marketing in various industries including retail and food and beverage industries. Particularly in store development, it plays a role in supporting strategic decision-making by visualizing the surrounding environment and market conditions of potential store locations.
Giken Shoji International has many years of experience in this field. To date, we have provided GIS to over 2000 companies. Last year, we released a new product, Market Analyzer® Traffic, which follows our main product, Market Analyzer®. This is a new product that integrates Agoop's people movement data in addition to GIS functions.
At Agoop, we received many requests from our customers to see their data in a more visualized manner, and we were working on developing our own proprietary tools. In doing so, we have integrated Giken Shoji's Market Analyzer®, which is highly recognized within the industry and has a proven track record. We decided that this collaboration would enable us to provide a faster, more convenient service.
There are two major features of "Market Analyzer® Traffic". One is that the data on the flow of people is contained on a road-by-road basis. Another feature is that the entire country of Japan is divided into squares (mesh) of 125 meters square, and each section is loaded with people flow data. This collaboration allows for more sophisticated and actionable market analysis.

Data on the flow of people on a road basis is extremely useful, especially when it comes to location strategies for stores and facilities. When a user selects a specific store location, by clicking on the target road in Market Analyzer® Traffic, Attributes such as time zone, means of transportation, age, gender, etc. can be instantly grasped.
